Hello, I’m Rachel.
I’m currently Creative Director at Meanwhile. Over the past three years, I’ve created advertising campaigns for Netflix’s ‘Thursday Murder Club’, ‘The Diamond Heist’ (exec produced by Guy Ritchie), National Geographic’s ‘Secrets of the Bees’, parkrun and Chester Zoo.
Before Meanwhile, I spent six years at BBC Creative. There, I got toes tapping for Strictly Come Dancing, helped Sir David Attenborough raise awareness around climate change, and won a BAFTA for my Tokyo 2020 Olympics title sequence. I also wrote a poem read by Sir Elton John and delved into the archives to make ‘This is Our BBC’, a film to celebrate its centenary. Along the way, I also produced key art for Vigil S2, The Capture, Red Rose and Steven Knight’s SAS Rogue Heroes.
Pre-Beeb I was at Ogilvy London, where I had the chance to work in Singapore and Mumbai on Unilever brands including Dove, Comfort, and Pond’s.
But it was at BMB that I made my very first TV advert: a TUI film about a one-eyed William Shatner voiced bear who rediscovers his logo smile on holiday.
Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate enough to have won a few awards.
BAFTA, Cannes Lions, D&AD, British Arrows, Creative Review, Campaign, The Drum, Creative Circle, Promax, Kinsale, Outdoor Media Awards, AICP, Broadcast Sport Awards, Vimeo Staff Pick, MPA Inspiration Awards, New York Festival, Isle of Man 30 Under 30, Manx Radio.
In 2023, I was made an Honorary Fellow of UCM.
